Hi Everyone!

I need some help. I want to open an Ewalletxpress account cause it will make life easier for me to deposit that way and take my winnings out that way. Here are my questions.
Is it safe to use Ewallet?
Once they have my checking account # is my checking account in jepordy for having funds taken out without me knowing about it?
Would my deposits to my checking account get screwed up if I opened this account?
I have $60 in my checking account and there is a mininum fee of $50 for Ewallet. Would my acount be in trouble or close if only $10 was left in it. Please help!

"Once they have my checking account # is my checking account in jepordy for having funds taken out without me knowing about it? "

Your banking information and money are more at risk of someone hacking the bank's servers, than from misuse by EWalletxpress.

The only online problem I have had, so far, was when the US government with Neteller paying out withdrawals from online poker sites. That created a problem for me getting my money out of Bodog, which took about a month and a half, compared to 4 days fro check to arrive from PokerStars(and the dance with the credit union to make them accept check for deposit. I didn't think it would be wise to say it was from poker site, so I said it was from 'doing business on the internet').

And that eventually was cleared up. I haven't heard anything about anyone not getting their money eventually.

I would suggest doing a small deposit (ALL my deposits are small, lol) as a test of the system. I do NOT believe your actual bank account will be at any greater risk than it is currently.

Here's a list of companies that are US friendly. Check to see which of these your poker sites do business with and remember to checks what their fees are for depositing ( a surprise to me) and withdrawing funds.

Also Ewalletexpress is reputable and has been around a long time so it should be fine.

If you are going to use a checking account to fund eWalletXpress (or any other online wallet-type thing), I would recommend getting a second checking account that you use only for poker. That way you don't have to worry about losing money other than that you have specifically budgeted for poker. A lot of banks will set you up with a separate bank account for free. I have a free business checking account that contains about $5 (my bank will close a zero-balance business account for some silly reason).

I wouldn't worry about ewallet express. Its a legit company. I'd worry about doing it when you don't have alot of money b4 christmas anyway. I have been using click2pay and all they needed was to deposit 23 cents and withdraw it again to prove I had a valid account. Then they let me deposit and take 25 cents or so. Also try getting a netcard from metabank which is a prepaid visa. like at safeway or walmart or online. my only1 card sent me routing numbers to make it look like a checking account so I could direct deposit with them. It took a while after I registered with them and they sent me a permanent card. 8)

I tried to open an account with EWalletXpress last night because ClickandBuy isn't recognizing my prepaid Visa as a valid card number. Strange since I can use it directly on FT, Cake and other sites. It's not the card rules but CnB's site just believes card numbers starting with 4321 4400 xxxx xxxx are not really Visa.

Anyway, EWalletXpress got me past the point of the online registration including entering my phone number. I then got a screen with a toll-free number saying to call the number from the line I entered as my phone number (which I did) and enter the transaction ID to verify my account.

When the call connects I get a recorded message saying they do not accept calls from caller ID blocked numbers. My caller ID is not blocked, it can be seen from any phone that I call locally or long distance. I called the customer support line and the woman there asked if I was calling from a cell phone. When I said yes she said I must call only from a land line.

Isn't this the 21st Century? A lot of people including myself do no use land lines anymore since it's just another bill for a service I already carry in my pocket.

Customer support says they can't help me if I don't have a land line.

Just one more reason to not bother with EWalletXpress.

I personally love ewalletexpress. I use it all the time to move money from site to site or do my withdrawals. The fee is kinda high but its worth it. I usually get my withdrawals posted to my bank account in 5 business days.
